Who is it for? Tresemme Smooth and Shine Pro Collection Shampoo is a shampoo for intense moisturization and it makes hair silky and smooth.

Method of Application:

I prefer using this shampoo by mixing a little amount of it in a 1/4^th mug of water and then massaging it onto the wet hair. This way it spreads evenly. I then scrub my scalp with fingertips lightly and wash it off with lukewarm water.

My experience with Tresemme Smooth and Shine Pro Collection Shampoo:

Packaging:

The shampoo comes in a matte black plastic bottle which has a spill proof cap.

Texture/ Consistency:

The shampoo is pearly white in color with a normal shampoo like consistency.

Fragrance:

It has a strong perfumed fragrance which is fruity and stays for a while after hair wash. I wish these shampoos did not have artificial fragrances.

Effectiveness:

I have thin hair and oily scalp but my hair strands get dry due to blow drying and pollution. While I want moisture on the hair, I do not like shampoos that make the hair appear greasy at the scalp and therefore this shampoo by Tresemme with Vitamin H and Silk protein proved to be appropriate,

I used it for a week and this shampoo worked really well for my hair type. While the hair feeling supple and moisturized, it did not weigh down my hair or made it look greasy at the scalp. What I loved was that it removed excess oil from the scalp, cleaned the scalp well without over-drying the skin. The hair felt light, smooth and shiny. This is a great option for regular use as it comes from a good brand and is pretty pocket-friendly.

Things I like about it:

1. Doesn’t weigh down the hair or make them look greasy.
2. Hair strands feel supple and moisturized.
3. Hair feels light and shiny.
4. Removes oiliness and dirt from scalp without drying it.
5. Reasonably priced.

What I did not like about it?

1. Contains SLS.
2. Contains perfume.

Would I recommend or repurchase?

Yes, it works really well for dry hair with an oily scalp. It can easily be a part of the hair care regime.
