Sephora Colorful Blush Blusher 12 Raspberry Sheen: Do you remember that nursery rhyme? Chubby cheeks, dimpled chin, rosy lips…teeth within!! There is always an image of beauty with healthy flushed cheeks. Most people I see, use eye makeup, lipsticks…but leave their cheeks plain without a blusher…or rose as they call here 😉 If you don’t want to end up looking painted, trust me…a light hand with the blusher, a Kajal and a lip stain is all u need 😀 Read the detailed review of my favorite blush now!
What is it and who is it for?
It is a blusher which has to be applied on cheeks. Some also call it rouge.
Rs.910 for 3.2gms
How to Use:
Since the blush is in pressed powder form it can be best used with the help of a blusher brush.
My Experience with Sephora Raspberry Sheen:
This blush comes in a classic and sturdy Sephora packaging. They have a huge variety of shades of blushes. I have chosen the Raspberry sheen as it is a very warm-toned pink that would go with all skin tones. If the blush is too pink, it can look odd on dusky tones as it does not mesh well with skin. If it is too dark, you will look err…slapped? 😛
This is the perfect shade. This blush is much pigmented. So I suggest, you use it with a very light hand. I use the sheer cheek blush from Zoeva to go with it. Very lightly and slowly, buildup the color that you desire. I feel, especially for beginners, you apply your lipstick before applying the blush. That way, you know the exact right amount of color to put on your cheeks. Again, start with light and build up the color.
This is a great blush, which doubles up as a highlighter with deep sheen. The glitter particles are really finely milled and give a beautiful glow. This blush has an excellent staying power. It will stay put, without breaking unless you get it off, with a makeup remover. With its smooth application, great color pay off and long stay…I consider this to be an amazing product.
Actually, this is a must-have in all the kits.
