My Experience with Pond’s Men Pollution Out Deep Clean Face Wash
This wash comes in a black plastic tube with same color flip-top cap. The packaging is simple yet attractive. The pack comes in two sizes; 50gm and 100gm.
Colour & Texture
It is a black colored gel based face wash with a light consistency. It has black colored coffee particles for exfoliation. It is a foaming cleanser so it produces a lot of lather. All oil control face washes are more or less drying on the skin; this one feels likewise. A rich moisturizer is a must with this.
It has a light aqua fragrance. The smell is refreshing to the senses but it does not linger long.
These days I am trying out a lot of men’s face care range products. Pond’s foaming face washes of White Beauty range worked for me and my mom so this time I bought their Deep Clean variant from men’s range. Now, this face wash is not entirely mine; my brother also uses it sometimes. He has oily skin with minimal pimples. He mostly gets small zits that leave a black mark on the skin but no scars. The mark takes anywhere between 3-5 months with proper skin care. I have combination acne-prone skin. This face wash worked well for my brother. It instantly gives an oil-free look to his face and he never complained about stretchiness on his skin after using it. But, I do feel the stretchiness that most other foaming face wash gives. It has sparsely distributed scrub particles so it provides light exfoliation.
What do I like about this face wash?
- Coffee and menthol based refreshing face wash
- Gives squeaky clean skin
- Moderate scrubbing actions
- Cooling feel
- Light fragrance
- Easily available & travel-friendly packaging
What I dislike about this face wash?
- Might dry out the skin if used in excess
- Not suitable for sensitive or dry skin
Would I Repurchase or Recommend?
I am not that fond of foaming facial cleansers so I might stick to gel cleansers for the time being. I would suggest it for extremely oily skinned people who have severe oiliness during humid summer time.
