My experience with Physicians Formula Shimmer Strips Custom Eye Enhancing Eyeliner Trio
Packaging-
The three eyeliners come in a cardboard box containing all the major information printed over it. The eyeliners are retractable and its body is in correspondence with the shade name. The outer packaging of the eyeliner is shiny and the overall product looks really classy, with the brand name written over the eyeliner’s body. The packaging also has a description of how to create a nude look.
Colour and Texture-
The eyeliners come in a set of 3 shades, namely- Champagne, Pewter/Etain, and Black/Noir
The eyeliners are little difficult to use in the beginning and they do not glide smoothly on the eyelids but once you have tried them on for around 3-4 times, they apply like butter. Later on, a stage comes where they become so soft that if you put extra pressure, the tip tends to break during the application. Now that I am using them almost on a daily basis, I can say that that the texture is really smooth and soft.
Staying Power-
It stays put for a very long amount of time, however it smudges a little bit, it gets blended to be precise and gives a kind of smoky look, which I personally like a lot.
Pigmentation-
The two shades ‘Pewter’ and ‘Black’ are highly pigmented but the color ‘Champagne’ is hardly visible, it is literally nude in every sense.
My Experience-
As mentioned earlier, I had a little hard time applying the eyeliners as they would tug on my eyelids, but on continuous use, they became soft. Now the application is really smooth and these days I go back to using these eyeliners again and again. The colors are beautiful and leave a little amount of shimmer on your eyelids. I believe the availability of this product might be a problem in India but if you have someone traveling to the US, you can get your hands on it easily and it would be inexpensive.

- Can smudge a little over time
- Availability in India- an issue
- Little expensive
- Tip of the eyeliner might bread due to excessive pressure during application
- Initially, the application is really difficult
Would I recommend or repurchase this product?
I would recommend buying this product only if it’s easily available, otherwise, there are many good eyeliners available in the Indian market these days. Nothing extraordinary in this product that you ought to buy this set but you can buy it if you happen to stumble upon it easily. Most probably I won’t be repurchasing the product. I would like to explore other shimmery eyeliners.
