Oriflame Optimals Even Out Night Cream Review

Today I am reviewing Oriflame Optimals Even Out Night Cream. This cream is from the Even Out range of Oriflame’s Optimal skin care series. This particular skin care line is quite popular as it caters the need of every age group and every skin type. My combination skin starts to behave like dry skin in winter that is why I try to incorporate a rich night cream as soon as autumn sets in. I generally search for something from non-comedogenic or non pore-clogging genre but this time an Oriflame lady somehow convinced me to get their Even Out Night Cream! Here is my view of this product.

Sensitive Skin Alert?

Yes. This cream gave my mom slight itches on the cheeks near the under eye area though I experienced no such sensation. So, it is better to check out before investing big bucks on it.

Natural/Vegan/Organic?

No

My Experience with Oriflame Optimals Even Out Night Cream

Packaging- This cream comes in a transparent glass tub and it has a muddy yellow plastic screw lid attached to it. Though the packaging is sturdy, leak-proof and looks very elegant, it is not travel friendly due to the glass packaging. The tub has a metal foil seal at the opening to protect the product from getting contaminated. The brand provides the complete ingredient list on the outer cardboard box but I do not have the outer pack at the moment.

Colour & Texture- The cream is off-white in colour and its texture is medium. It is not a very heavy cream but not very light either. It spreads evenly and does not make my combination skin too oily. Less is more with this cream so if you apply too much you might get an oily face. It is not a mattifying cream. After application, it gives comfortable yet moisturized skin.

Fragrance- This cream has light floral fragrance. The scent is very soothing and does not overpower my senses. The fragrance does not stay for long.

Experience- This is my first product from Oriflame’s Optimal range and I have been using it for 4 months now. Still, I am left with enough product for at least three more months. This cream surely lasts long. This is an effective night cream. It nourishes my face really well. It took care of the dry zones of my face in just 4-5 days. I am very consistent with the product as I want to see some serious results with such a costly cream! This cream does give a nice healthy glow and plumpness in the morning. The dryness induced dull skin is no more to be experienced! The effect stays longer if I do not let my skin getting dry throughout the day. Most importantly, this cream did not accentuate my acne breakouts. If there is a pimple, it will remain same; it will not get bigger but will not reduce either. But, the biggest con with this cream is that it does not even out the skin which was the main claim. I have more or less even tone but there are some old acne marks on my face. This cream did not reduce them at all in these 4 months.

Overall Performance of Oriflame Optimals Even Out Night Cream

Pros-

  1. Nourishes my combination skin
  2. Gets rid of dryness without causing acne
  3. Makes skin look plump and healthy

Cons-

  1. Did not reduce my acne marks at all
  2. Not for oily skin
  3. Expensive

Would I Repurchase or Recommend?

Oriflame Optimals Even Out Night Cream is a good night cream that gives nourished and healthy skin but at the same time it did nothing to even out my acne marks. So, I am thinking about exploring the other night creams from the same range instead of buying this again.
