So, I have an obsession with bright colors. The other thing that I really love is lipsticks. I can never have enough. So when I put both together, you can expect something fun.

I’ve sported various shades, from nudes to pinks, to oranges, to plums, and reds. I’ve done them all. The one thing that I was missing was fun shades like purples and grays. So when, NYX opened their first store in Mumbai, at Shoppers Stop, Linking Road, I knew what I had to go and pick up. When I went to the NYX counter, I was as confused as they had so many shades, and all looked so good. When I swatched the Berry Strudel, I knew that this is what I had to pick up. But, my friend, who had accompanied me, wasn’t a fan of the shade and convinced me to pick up something else. So I decided that I would try a couple of others, and after I did, I knew that the Berry Strudel is what I had to pick up. It was so me!

How to use

My Experience with NYX Intense Butter Gloss Berry Strudel

The butter gloss applies very smoothly, its super creamy and opaque. The pigmentation is good; however, it isn’t enough for medium/tan skin tones. Most lip glosses, the color washes off and just the gloss stays on. But with this product, the color too lasts for a while. It works as a good moisturizing product too. However, if you’re eating with it on, it will fade off faster. The company claim that is isn’t sticky, but that’s not completely true. It does have a bit off stickiness like most glosses do. Also, I must mention, it has a lovely buttery fragrance to it (extra point for that).

Totally. I love the shade and it does a fairly good job. So for those looking for a fun shade- Berry Strudel it is. And for those who are not very experimental, they have some lovely everyday shades too.
