My Experience with Nivea For Nivea Fresh Active Deodorant Original
Packaging
The deodorant comes in a deep blue metal can with spray dispenser. The bottle has a strong spray mechanism and the sprayer is secured with a translucent plastic cap. Overall the packaging is very sturdy and travel-friendly.
Colour & Texture
The deodorant is a tint-less clear liquid of watery consistency. No moisturizing particles or talcs are there in the deodorant. So, it won’t give you the antiperspirant action but at the same time won’t stain the clothes.
Fragrance
This deodorant has a distinct ocean breeze kind of fragrance. I could also identify hints of muskiness in the top notes along with citrus notes. The fragrance is not overpowering as it is the case with some other deodorants with oceanic fragrances. That is the reason this fragrance is a favorite of many.
Ease of Application
Application is fuss-free with this. You just need to spray and wait for a few seconds for the liquid to evaporate to some extent and that’s it!
Effectiveness
Once applied the deodorant evaporates after a few seconds leaving behind the fragrance. The smell stays for 6-7 hours in an extremely sweaty humid day. Though there is a claim of 48 hours longevity that’s not the case in reality. Still, the staying power is quite good for a deodorant of this price range.
My Experience
This one is my new found favorite from Nivea men’s rage. My brother used to use it but then the fragrance didn’t get to my attention that much. I picked this up from my last visit to the nearest departmental store. I am quite happy with the fragrance. It is not extremely muted but not very overpowering as well. The intensity, lasting power, and fresh feel are just perfect for the humid summertime of my place.
