I am a very bath and body product crazy person! I love trying out new shower gels and body lotions. It is my way to relax…a fragrance to match my mood 🙂 I am forever on the lookout for new and different shower gels…so when I came across these offerings from Nike, I was overjoyed.

I have already written about the Purple Sensaction shower gel earlier. If you have not read the review, I will not disclose the suspense. Read on to know how this shower gel from Nike has fared for me.

My Experience with Nike Sensaction Life on Coconut Shampoo & Shower Gel:

This shower gel comes in a nice handy matte, white bottle. While I like the bottle itself, the cap of the bottle is very flimsy. It can break easily and might leak during travelling. So I will not call the packaging travel friendly.

 
 
 

 
 
 

The shower gel is very artificially bright green. It is displeasing to the eye, as there creamy white coconut would have looked better. Anyways, this shower gel had the same problem that the purple one had. It is very artificial and chemical perfume smelling. Nothing wrong with that, per say…but for the same or lesser price you get better smelling shower gels from brands like Palmolive and Dove etc .To me, it doesn’t smell even remotely like coconuts…or tropics. It’s a very uni dimensional and boring fragrance. The fragrance does not last for even a second beyond the bath. I don’t know that I should feel happy or sad about it :p

 
 
 

 
 
 

This shower gel is very runny; one has to be careful while using it. It lathers well. My skin feels dried out after using it, so much so that I cannot skip the body cream. I am majorly disappointed here. I was expecting better quality from Nike.
