How to use:

The product comes in a sleek and compact long container and you have to remove the cap and then twist it, just like you twist open any other normal lipstick of yours. The application is simple as the lipstick is easy to hold and glides through your lips in one go because of the smooth and velvety texture and last for a couple of hours.

Quick tip: in order to make your lipstick last a little longer and give it a more mattified look, once you have applied the lipstick evenly over your lips, take a tissue paper and press it gently between your lips, this will remove all the excess lipstick making it looks a little more matte, clean and less glossy and would make it last a little long.

My Experience with Milani Moisture Matte Lipstick Darling

Shade: The product is a matte lipstick in a very subtle and nude pink color.

Finish: It has a velvety texture that just glides through your lips making them feel soft and supple and doesn’t make them feel dry at all. It stands true the claim of being a product with the matte finish having a velvety texture and does keep your lips moisturized.

Staying Power: However the lipstick doesn’t stay for a long duration of time.The lipstick stays in place for not more than 3 hours and the moment you eat it fades off because though its matte in finish but the texture is velvety and smooth which leads to fading of the color after a few hours. So it has to be reapplied after a few hours.

I would recommend this shade for people who like matte lipsticks with a velvety touch. But for a girl like me who swear by complete matte finish lip products that stay in place for the long duration of hours, this would not be an ideal pick.

Overall Would I repurchase and recommend?

 I personally don’t like creamy and velvety lipsticks, so I wouldn’t put in so much of my money into this product. It is a pretty average product as far as I am concerned. Lasting power is a big bummer for me.
