My Experience With Maybelline The Blushed Nudes Palette
This travel friendly palette comes in a cute pastel pink case, which matches perfectly with the rose gold-infused shades. There is a dual ended applicator which contributes to the travel friendliness of the palette.
Colour and Texture
The Blushed Nudes Palette has 12 whole shades! And all of them are rose gold-infused. The colours range from pretty pinks to darker greys and purples, from mattes tob shimmers. There are lighter highlighting shades. You can bare it all or create a beautiful smokey eye just with this palette. The lighter colours are not very pigmented, though they show up really well when you use build it up. They have a smooth texture and almost no fallout.
There is no significant fragrance.
The rose gold-infused shades are too pretty to resist, as is the cute packaging of the palette. So when Maybelline launched The Blushed Nudes Palette in India, I rushed to the store to buy it- and it’s one of the most versatile palettes I own till date. It is great for daily use- be it at work or for a brunch. I would not suggest wearing this for a typical smokey eye look, though you can always experiment with your smokey eyes (try creating a pink smokey eye)! I was surprised by the versatility of the palette and created a number of looks with it. I even wore it to a wedding- and the colour stayed there for around three hours despite not using an eye primer. The only problem I faced was the lack of pigmentation with the lighter shades- especially the first two. It takes quite an amount of time to get built up which can be pretty frustrating. But I have decided to overlook that, given the palette’s vast range of colours, smoothness, durability. The fact that the colours blend so well made me fall more in love with The Blushed Nudes Palette.
