Hey guys! Lipstick Lover is back again!!I should really start going by that name now…that’s just what I am. So being the fanatic that I am, when the Diwali sales were announced, I went and splurged on lipsticks. One of the shades that I bought is the Maybelline Nude Nuance Color Sensational Creamy Matte Lip Color. Currently, everyone wants to go with bold eyes and a nude lip. So, stocking up on nude shades is very important. I’ve always found it hard to find good nude shades, so when I saw this, I picked it up right away.

INR 575 for 4.2g. But since I got it on discount, I paid about INR 450 approximately.

My Experience with Maybelline Nude Nuance Color Sensational Creamy Matte Lip Color

When we buy products, the first thing that we see is the packaging. And many times, it’s the packaging that draws us towards the product. The packaging of the Nude Nuance is not even average. It comes in the usual silver casing with a transparent mauve cover. In terms of packaging, the brand really needs to buck up and do something better with it. All lipsticks under the brand have the same casing which makes it a little hard to identify a particular shade. Also, there’s no branding on the product apart from a sticker with the shade name at the bottom of the tube. It has a nice creamy texture to it and glides on very smoothly. It applies evenly on the lips and does not highlight dry patches. Even if you have pigmented lips, the Nude Nuance will hide it will. The shade is nice brownish pink nude that is best suited for medium skin tones. Although, it works well for light and dark tones too. It doesn’t wash out any skin tones. The pigments in this lipstick are very strong. One or two swipes are enough to get the right amount of color pays off. Nude Nuance is not a completely matte shade, it works well for those who prefer a nondrying matte shade. It feels good on the lips and adds a good amount of hydration. When just applied, the lipsticks transfers. But after it settles down, it is nontransferable. The shade is quite long lasting but it does fade off a little after meals.
