Makeup setting spray is a MUST item in every makeup kit. Trust me; there is a world of difference between how your makeup looks before and after using it. Makeup setting spray keeps your makeup last longer. But here is my observation. The even bigger work that it does is to remove the powdery-ness and that obvious powder that appears to have been applied on the face. One spray and everything looks beautiful blended out and …nut actually natural…but pretty close to it!
I think I will put up a post on the makeup kit essentials today. But meanwhile, let’s see how this makeup setting spray from MAC fares for me.

My Experience with MAC Fix Plus Prep + Prime
This makeup setting spray comes in a sturdy plastic bottle. It earns the first out of its great points, due to the bottle itself. The spray mechanism is sturdy lock one; it will most likely never leak while travelling. The spray is such that you can fix any particular area of the face.
This makeup setting spray is a winner for me. It sets and gives my makeup a very nicely blended look. None of that obvious, powdery look. This particularly is non fragranced. If you like fragranced setting sprays, I suggest you go for the Gerard makeup setting spray that Shubha has reviewed here.
My personal choice is to go for a non fragranced one as I already layer on a lot of bath and body products and don’t want a fragrance overload 😛
Unlike a few cheap makeups setting sprays, the fix plus does not have any film forming or hair spray ingredients. Thank God for that! With its antioxidants and non irritant formula, it has never broken me out. Again, if you have sensitive skin, I would suggest you use this rather than other setting sprays.
