My Experience with Lakme 9 to 5 Rouge Ready Lipstick

Packaging –

The outer body is rose gold in color. The packaging is secure and does not open easily, till opened. Shiny, glossy looking package does make it look like the quintessential Lakme semi-luxury product.

How to Apply-

Apply it evenly over your lips. Works well with a lighter, orangish shade dabbed on the lips after applying it; you can mix these shades to create the perfect warm maroon color.

Colour and Texture –

Rouge ready really does make you ready to go rogue. The beautiful maroon shade reminds you of the dark red rose for sure. The best thing about this lipstick is that it is creamy but gives the lips a matte effect. It lends the lip opaque color.

Stay duration –

It does not have the staying power of liquid matte lipstick but does manage to stain the lip for a long duration. It stays for 3-4 hours. But is not smudge-proof.

Scented –

Non-fragrant.

2. It’s got a cool tone.

Its an average product, if you get the same shade at a cheaper price you can buy that too.
