My Experience with Just Herbs Gotukola Indian Ginseng Elixir
Packaging-
The product comes in a glass tinted black bottle which is enclosed in a cardboard box. The box itself is very pretty and is crafted to perfection. A light green box which is decorated with pretty prints of golden and dark green leaves. The glass bottle inside is tinted which is exactly how serum bottles should be to avoid minimum penetration of sunlight. The bottle has a pump to dispense the serum, however, you can untwist the cap too. Love the packing (all hearts)!
Fragrance-
The product has a very leafy plant smell and gives off a faint smell of the Indian herb Ashwagandha.
However, the smell doesn’t linger on after application and doesn’t bother me at all. Love the herbal concoction.
My Experience
I have been using this product for a long time and the bottle is nearing its last days. I think I can describe pretty much everything about this serum now. The serum feels a bit heavy initially but then give it some time and it gets nicely absorbed in your skin. You can definitely use it under your everyday makeup and give your skin a protective layer. The smell doesn’t linger on after application so even if you have a thing against herbal smells you won’t be able to affect by this much. Now if I talk about the results of this serum, initially I thought this isn’t working at all and I was almost ready to give up on it in the second week as I didn’t see any results. However, something told me to go ahead and finish this bottle all up and so it did and in the third week, I could see a noticeable difference in my skin. Skin appears to be plumper, tighter and much refined in terms of texture. If you have any discoloration or uneven skin tone then this gradually and slowly helps with that too. All that you need to do is give this serum some time. Any which ways it is an all natural serum and isn’t loaded with chemicals like the others in the market which deliver fast results no doubt but then whats natural is NATURAL!
And I think it’s especially great for people in their twenties who don’t want to resort to chemicals at an early stage.
