Jovees Sunscreen : Sandalwood SPF 30 – Best Sunscreen for Men in India ?

Summers are in and its time to shop for those yellow white tubes of sunscreen again.  Sunscreen is something that is absolutely an essential no matter whether it is summers or winters but people still remember that they have to buy one when summers are right around the corner. So here is another one out of my sunscreen haul which isn’t the nicest that I have used but still a good one. So you might want to go over this one and see if this is your thing. In fact esp for a guy this  Jovees Sunscreen maybe the Best Sunscreen for Men in India.

This Natural Sandalwood Sun Cover is a nongreasy herbal formulation that helps guard against the damaging effects of UVA / UVB rays and other polluting agents. It shall also help in improving skins overall well being & make skin visibly fairer & even-toned.

How To Use Jovees Sandalwood Sun Cover Natural Protection – SPF 30:

• Apply evenly all over face and to the skin exposed to the sun.
• Leave on.
• Useful for all skin types.

Sandalwood, Aloe Vera, Chamomile, Liquorice.

My Experience With Jovees Sunscreen: Sandalwood SPF 30

Packaging-  The sunscreen comes in a squeezable tube which has a yellow flip top that closes quite tightly and is travel-friendly.

Texture and Consistency- The sunscreen is an off-white cream which has a slight sheen to it. The cream is quite thick in consistency.

Fragrance – The cream has  a slightly herbal fragrance which doesn’t stay on for long,

Experience- The sunscreen comes in a tube from which is hygienic and can be carried around while traveling. The cream itself is dense in consistency and you would need to dot it all over your face in order to cover the entire face with its coverage and spread it well. The sunscreen does not leave a white cast behind once it’s applied and absorbed. The sunscreen is moisturizing too and people with dry skin would love this. However, the normal skin people might find it a bit heavy in case they stay out in the sun for prolonged periods. It’s best not to go overboard when using this sunscreen as it might get a bit oily and you wouldn’t like that for sure. I can say that this sunscreen has appropriate SPF which can be put to everyday use, however, I wouldn’t suggest using this under makeup as it might lead to heaviness and also cause the makeup to drip due to its oily texture.

• Spreads well
• Moisturizing
• Great for everyday use
• Goodness of sandalwood
• No white cast
• Gets absorbed well

Cons

• Might be a bit oily if used in excess
• Not suitable to be used under makeup

My Recommendation?

I would recommend this to dry- normal skinned beauties for everyday users who face prolonged sun exposure as this has SPF 30 which is decent SPF. If oily skinned people want to use this then there is no need for them to use a moisturizer with this.
