Winter has started setting in, which automatically means extra care for the skin. Winter usually is accompanied by dry days for the skin. Therefore at this time of the year, we increase the number of moisturizers in our shopping carts.
So this would be the perfect time to talk about what kind of moisturizers would prove effective for dry skin on the face this winter season. Keeping that in mind, today I’ll be reviewing the Garnier Skin Naturals Daily Care Moisturising Cream that I’ve started using the onset of the winters!

My Experience with the Garnier Skin Naturals Daily Care Moisturising Cream with Grapefruit and Vitamin E
The cream comes in a small green round shaped bottle with a broad white colored lid. The bottle, in turn, sits inside a cardboard box which is white in color and has the Garnier logo on it. The bottle is sturdy and is made of fiber glass and doesn’t pose any danger of breaking if dropped. The lid is pretty tight and secures hence stopping any sort of leakage. The bottle is tiny enough to snugly fit into the handbag. The only problem is that it does not come with a spatula. You need to dip your finger and scoop up the cream.
The cream has a very light green color. It’s neither too thick nor too thin. When applied to the skin it doesn’t drip, nor does it feel thick and sticky. It gets absorbed very well within minutes of gently massaging the cream into the skin.
The cream has a wonderful minty grassy smell to it. It enhances the feeling of freshness. It isn’t too strong and stays for quite a while.
When I decided to buy this one I had really wished that I wouldn’t be disappointed and thankfully, I am not disappointed at all. The cream lives up to its name. It moisturized the skin of my face perfectly. Not only that, but it also makes it feel smooth and soft. In fact, this softness lasts throughout the day. Its claim of lasting for 24 hours is not totally true, but it does last for a long time. I usually apply it a second time when I wash my face thoroughly in the evening. Also, I absolutely love the fragrance. The most amazing part of this cream is the fact that this works wonderfully as a base cream for makeup. It helps the makeup set in perfectly along with moisturizing the winter skin and adding freshness to it.
