My Experience with The Face Shop Real Nature Potato Face Mask

Packaging

This mask sheet comes in a white color matte plastic pouch. It is a four-side sealed pouch. The quality of the packaging is very good and hygienic. The Face Shop has recently redesigned their face mask packaging. This one is a newer variant with sleek and convenient packaging.

Colour & Texture

This is a tar colorant free product so the serum is transparent and colorless. The cotton mask sheet is pure white in color. The texture of the serum liquid is slightly thicker than water but it does not drip. The serum does not feel heavy on my skin as well.

Fragrance

This mask has light soothing fragrance. There is a subtle vegetable smell. The fragrance seems to be artificial but it is definitely better than raw potato smell.

Experience

Sheet masks are quite good when it comes to instant moisture replenishment and glow-boosting. This mask also comes with such perks. In addition to these, it also calms down the facial skin after severe sun exposure. My skin gets super sensitive in the harsh sun. Sun exposure causes redness, itching, and irritation to my exposed skin. This mask is able to produce a light cooling effect as the serum evaporates. It reduces the terrible redness and itchy sensation. Though this mask doesn’t work on tans and pigmentation, it provides an instant soothing effect to the skin.

What I dislike about this mask?

1. Temporary effect
2. Mask sheet does not fit properly on my heart shaped face
3. Does not reduce older sun damages or tans

Would I Repurchase or Recommend?

This new vegetable-based mask is free from harmful chemicals and provides a calming effect on the skin after long hours of sun exposure. So, I will buy it again and will suggest it to all.
