Dear Packer Sandalwood + Rose Water Home Remedy Mask  :Sandalwood and Rosewater are probably the most used home remedy in my entire life. I have acne prone skin which gives me sudden acne bouts. My 2 ingredient homemade face pack including sandalwood and rose water always comes handy at situations. Even my father who always backs out at any beauty related discussions also sings the praise of this particular pack as it helped him to get rid of his jumbo size pimples! Sandal and Rosewater are two ingredients that work on dry skin very well. The essential oils of sandal and rose are by nature moisture replenishing. When I saw the names of Sandalwood and Rose Water together in Dear Packer Sandalwood + Rose Water Home Remedy Mask; I had no other option but to get this mask for me! Let’s read on to know how this mask fared on me.

Price- Rs.100 for 20gm(1 Sheet)

My Experience with Dear Packer Sandalwood + Rose Water Home Remedy Mask

Packaging- This mask comes in a deep green fan-shaped matte plastic packet. The mask is for one-time use only so the brand has provided a cut-open packaging to secure the mask from getting contaminated. The front side of the packaging shows some cute graphical imprints of flowers and the back side holds all the written details like ingredient list, claims etc. Overall the packaging is alluring, sturdy, and leakage-proof; something you can carry easily in your travel bag. I like the concept of sheet masks because they are simple and no-hassle products that you can use on the go.

Colour & Texture- Inside the packet there lays one white, thin, cotton-made mask sheet. The mask sheet is wet with colorless water like a serum. The consistency if the serum is slightly denser than water. It is not oily or sticky. The face does not get overly moisturized once you apply it. In fact, I like this mask to stay longer on my face!

Fragrance- This is the area of which I am a bit disappointed with this mask. I expected this mask to have a soothing sandal and rose fragrance but this has a very light artificial rose kind of fragrance instead. The smell is not at all long lasting and does not cause a headache or any uncomfortable feeling.

Experience- As I mentioned before, Sandalwood and Rose Waterworks for both oily skin and dry skin. This mask is prepared to tackle dry skin related issues. This mask promises to restock the skin’s moisture level and it certainly does so. It hydrates the skin and makes skin appear supple and softer. When the mask serum evaporates there is the usual cooling feel. This sensation freshens up the skin. The mask was supposed to soothe with its fragrance too but due to its artificial scent, it fails to do so. The serum is very light on the skin so I like to keep this mask longer for an extended calming feel. It increases skin’s moisture retention so the skin gets over from the darkened look of dehydration. I am happy that this mask fulfills all the claims. But, this one too gives temporary results.
