My experience with the Colourpop Lippie Stix New Rules

Packaging

The tube comes in a light pastel green box with white polka dots on it. The text is all printed in silver. The roll on lipstick tube is white and has the shade on one side with the name of it. So in terms of packaging, the brand has done a good job.

Fragrance

There’s no strong fragrance to the product. But, if you bring it really close, you’ll notice a light shea butter fragrance.

Texture

The texture of the Lippie Stix is really smooth. It glides on really well and doesn’t emphasize fine lines. In fact, even if your lips are not well moisturized, it will apply smoothly.

Pigmentation

The pigmentation is just beautiful. Just one swipe will add so much of color to your lips…it’s amazing.

Affordability

I still can’t believe how affordable this brand is. For the quality that the brand gives provides…its more than just affordable. When converted, it comes up to about INR 300.

Smudge/Kiss Proof

Sadly, the lipstick doesn’t tend to spread if you rub your hand lightly. So obviously that means its not kiss proof 😉

Staying Power

The lipsticks last for quite a while and stay in while through food and drinks. It stayed on easily for about 4 hours…which works for me!

Shade

New Rules is a dusty mauve shade that looks so good on all skin tones.

Finish

It’s a matte finish that doesn’t get patchy. However, though, I did notice that if you do too many coats, it starts crumbling a little.

Oh yes! I definitely would. It’s affordable, looks good and is of great quality. So why not! Only thing is, shipping to India is a bit of an issue.
