We girls love pretty nail paints don’t we? But aren’t we bored with same pink and red shades? I was searching some new shades of nail paints on stores and found this new shades of colorbar, and I immediately bought four shade (would have bought two more but they were pretty costly). So, I bought 4 nail paints just because I was bored with boring colors of pink and red etc.

Application of the products
The application of the product is easy and like every other nail paint. The brand says that one coat is not sufficient for colorbar CT antique gold nail lacquer, pina colada and turquoise. A person has to follow with a second coat to have an amazing color. Whereas in case of silverlining shade of nailpaint one coat is more than enough.
My experience with Colorbar Nail Polishes 24CT Antique Gold Nail Lacquer, Colorbar Turquoise, Colorbar Silver Lining and Colorbar Pina Colada
First impression:
When I first saw these perfect nail paints I was sure that I have to buy these pretty colors only. Reason being that these colors are totally different from other colors. I haven’t seen any antique metallic gold or silver color till now to be true. The product comes in a see through glass form with a pretty cap along with black labeling. They are too pretty to be true.
What I felt after using the product?
Colobar CT antique gold
The nail lacquer is smooth in application on the nails. The bristles of the brush are way too soft and easy to apply. The color when once applied is little light but when followed with the second coat the color enhances and gets intensified.
The antique gold color is shimmery and royal both. It doesn’t look like cheap golden color which is found in market in abundance. The look of the color is metallic so it is different from those normally found colors. Another thing about this product is that it dries way too fast (don’t we all hate to wait for nail paints to get dry?) it is also chip resistant; it easily stays for a week. But if you work in kitchen and wash clothes on a regular basis then it will chip quickly.
It easily removes in one go with the help of acetone or nail remover, but it leaves tiny particles of shimmers. It also doesn’t yellow the nails, which cheap and low quality nail paints do.
Colorbar turquoise
The color is cute when applied on. What is not amazing about this nailpaint is that even in two coats it is quite light. I can see the inner of my nails even after second coat. The bristles are same as that of CT antique gold. It removes in one go with the help of nail remover.
Colorbar pina colada
Personally I liked the color of this nailpaint. It is neon yellow in color. But the only problem with this color is that it requires 3-4 coats for a darker shade. In one coat it doesn’t even look like something has been applied. This was the major turnoff. Other things are perfectly fine.
Colorbar silver lining
To be honest this is my favorite shade. I have applied this nailpaint for about 5-6 times now. Even now I’m not bored. The finish and look is metallic. It looks like metal. It lasts long and doesn’t chip for a week (as was in my case).

I totally loved all of them just because of their unique color and staying power. These two qualities are rarely found in single nail paint. I can easily point out positives of all of them which are as follows:
- Unique color
- Soft application
- Chip resistant
- Soft brush
- Dries quickly
- Doesn’t yellow the nails
- Goes with everything you wear
Other than that what I didn’t like about them is that they are little costly especially antique gold one. I mean 300 bucks for single nail paint! Not everybody can afford it. I fought with my mother to buy this nail paint. But to be honest it was totally worth it:P
Would I recommend?
Totally I would. These nail paints have everything that good nail paint should have. They are consistent and long lasting. It makes our hands look glamorous and pretty. Although don’t buy them if you do household chores, because they will chip in 3-4 days.
