My Experience with Bourjois Gloss Effet 3D Corail Idyllic Lip Gloss

It is a glass bottle with a silver cover which looks pretty and trendy. I really like the packaging, compared with other brands having plastic bottles. Still, take care not to drop it too often 😛

I got this gloss in shade 52-Coral Idyllic. It is a light pinky peachy shade which is very girly and looks really natural on the lips. The color inside the bottle looks intense but on the application, it comes off looking sheer. There is a hint of color and shimmer, with lots of shine.

Don’t buy it for the color. Rather buy it for the shine effect and moisturizing quality. You can enhance the look of any matte lipstick with it to give a fuller look to the lips. Thankfully, the shimmer is just apt and not over the top.

Bourjois claims that the unique plastic applicator gives 33% more shine. This is actually true. The best thing about this gloss is that it is not at all sticky…Thank God!! 😛  It is not heavy on the lips and it keeps your lips hydrated.

But as the brand claims that it stays on for 8hours that are not true. You will need touch-ups. Still, though it stays on for long, as compared to other glosses.
