My Experience with The Body Shop Vitamin C Sunscreen

This sunscreen comes in a handy tube packaging. The tube is completely opaque. Now comes the important point of packaging. You MUST buy  ONLY those Vitamin C products which have dark/opaque packaging. Never ever, buy anything that says it has vitamin C; but comes in a jar.

This is because; Vitamin C vanishes immediately on exposure to air or light. Next time you buy a Vitamin C product, do keep this in mind 🙂

This cream is decently thick. It applies well and is easy to spread. I personally feel a slight tingling sensation on applying it. But, my friend who also uses this sunscreen, does not feel any such thing. Despite the tingling sensation, this cream has never broken me out or irritated my sensitive skin.

The cream does not leave any white cast on the skin.

Although it is a bit greasy at the time of application, the greasiness goes away after a few minutes.

The fact that this day cream has a decent SPF of 30,  is among its USPs. SPF 30 means, it is although it is not a heavy duty sunscreen that you can apply on beach outings or for heavy sun exposure, for daily use, it is enough.

It is among those rare day creams, which have both sun protection and antioxidant abilities. Those ways, it is an all rounder!

Yes. It is a very good day cream. I am on my third tube of this product. Highly recommended!!
