Anne Semonin is a luxury brand; they have their spas in Europe where celebrities and models go for therapeutic treatments. They have their own line of skincare by the same name. I have earlier reviewed their Precious serum.
Today I am writing a review of their hydrating gel mask.
What is it and who is it for?
A hydrating gel mask. Especially suited for dull dehydrated skin.
£42.00 for 75 ml

What does the Brand Claim about Anne Semonin Gel Mask?
A radiance treatment for dehydrated, tired skin with fine lines and wrinkles. Ideal before a night out. An instant pick-me-up, this cooling, refreshing mask is designed to revitalize and energize the skin to re-establish a radiant glow. Helps improve elasticity and tonicity, is remineralising and skin plumping. Enriched with Vitamins and Trace Elements, and delicious essential oils of Cypress, Ylang Ylang, Lavender and Palmerosa with regenerating, stimulating properties, this mask recharges and boosts lack luster skin.
How to Use:
After cleansing and exfoliating, apply to cleansed skin using the applicator brush to apply a thick layer and leave on for 10 minutes, before removing with a damp cellulose sponge.
My Experience with Anne Semonin Gel Mask
This gel mask comes in a glass jar. It’s not travel friendly though. There is another tube packaging which is much better for travel purposes 🙂 this gel mask has a thick gel texture. It spreads really well. It smells very herbally and minerally. Not aromatherapy and great smelling, but not off-putting too. Once I apply it, it gives a warming feeling on the skin.
Here is the thing though. I really don’t see a huge difference after applying this mask. I mean if I am spending this much money on a face mask, it should utterly transform my skin. This product is good, not great. Hence I feel, the price is not justified.
Positives of Anne Semonin Gel Mask
- Natural experience
- Spreads easily
- Does not sting the skin
Negatives of Anne Semonin Gel Mask
- Very Expensive
- Unhygienic packaging
- Not value for money
Overall Would I repurchase and recommend?
I am honestly not going to recommend this. It’s too expensive. There is no dramatic benefit that I see from it.
2.5/5 pretty average.
