- 1/4th of turmeric
- 2 Tbsp. gram flour (bean)
- 5 Tbsp. milk.
Simply mix all the ingredients to obtain a paste. Apply on the face and leave it on for about 15 minutes (it should dry up). Wet your fingers and dab some water on your face to soften the mask and begin to exfoliate. Continue for 5 minutes and then rinse off using cold water.
This face pack does a great job at removing pigmentation and any dullness. Gram flour will help to remove the dead skin cells and make your skin supremely smooth. This face mask is ideal for most skin types.
Turmeric and honey face mask
- 1/4th tsp. turmeric
- 2 Tbsp. of honey
- 1 Tbsp. yoghurt
Mix all the ingredients to obtain a paste and leave it on the face for 15 minutes or until it dries. Rinse using lukewarm water.
This mask is ideal for dry skin and will leave your skin extremely smooth and supple. Yoghurt will moisturize and hydrate the skin while honey will add a glow to the skin.
Turmeric and lemon mask
- Lemon juice.
- 1 tbsp. yoghurt.
- 1/4th tsp. turmeric.
As mentioned previously, just mix all the ingredients to get a paste and apply directly. Leave this mask on for about 10 minutes and rinse off with cold water.
This mask is ideal for oily skin. Lemon does a great job absorbing excess oil and removing sun tan. Since lemon juice is quite potent and harsh in the skin, yoghurt will help add back some moisture to the skin.
Turmeric and sandalwood mask:
- ¼ tsp. turmeric
- 1 tsp. sandalwood powder
- 4 tbsp. rose water.
Mix all the ingredients and apply the paste on the face. Leave it on for 15 minutes and then wash with cold water.
Sandal wood and turmeric are both great for reducing inflammation and work wonders for irritated and acne-prone skin. Over time this mask will help to reduce acne and treat clogged pores. You can also apply this mask after you scrub as it helps to close open pores.
Turmeric and oatmeal masks:
- ¼ tsp. turmeric
- 1 tbsp. oatmeal (regular)
- Rose water
Mix all the ingredients and apply the mask on the face. Leave it on for 10 minutes and rinse using cold water.
