Dry Skin Brushing Benefits :How easy would life be if we didn’t have to keep up with the tedious and cumbersome skin routines for every part of our body? What if there was one simple routine to take care of everything?

Dry Skin Brushing is the answer you’re looking for. The one stop shop for all our skin woes. It takes just minutes and costs absolutely nothing, and the best part is – it is completely natural. It leaves your skin smooth, healthy and glowing all at once.

It is an age old technique that has been practiced by our grandmas since the dawn of time. All you have to do is brush your skin with a brush for a few minutes every day and viola! your skin rids itself of the dead cells, paving way for better cell growth and circulation of blood.

Drys Skin Brushing Technique

Get a natural bristle brush (the harder its hair, the better). Make sure it’s natural and not synthetic. Get in your washroom, remove all your clothes and start scrubbing your body with the brush – starting with your toes and working your way towards the heart. Try to make long strides and cover every inch of your body. It might feel hard on the skin at first and do be gentle on the sensitive areas, but you will get used to it as the skin will start hardening.

When you are done, step into the shower. Don’t let the water be too cold or too hot. Choose what suits you best. After the bath, pat dry the skin and apply natural moisturizer like coconut oil or olive oil.

If you can, do this twice a day. But once a day works too. Do it continually for at least a month to see a real difference. Make sure to wash the brush once a week and dry it in sunlight to keep it germ-free.

What it does

If you’re thinking what can rub your skin with a brush possibly do – I will say that I do understand the skepticism. But the simplicity of it is what actually works.

First and foremost, it exfoliates dead skin from our body on a regular basis ie, removing them as soon as they are formed. This de-clogs the skin and allows it to breathe. Most skin problems are caused by the clogging of the skin and this prevents that. And we get the smooth and clear skin.

Secondly, it betters the circulation of our body. Stimulating the skin ensures a steady flow of not just blood, but all the fluids of our body. This results in a healthy red glow on our skin.

Third, it deters the formation of cellulite in our body. Now, cellulite is the supervillain that makes us flabby in thighs and hips and upper arms. It settles in the fat cells of our body, disrupting their growth – which results in the unattractive flab. And the fact that dry skin brushing fights cellulite alone makes it worth a try.

All these benefits combined make our skin clear, clean, glowing and promote rejuvenation and growth as well. It clears our pores, lets them breathe prompting an uncontaminated and steady flow of liquids in our body. So we not only get a beautiful skin from the outside, but we also bring balance to our body from the inside.

This routine is so inexpensive and hassle free, that there is no reason for you to start with it right now. Go find that old brush lying away in your drawer you never thought you would use.
