Why Does My Head Feel Heavy? The feeling of something heavy has been kept on our head can indicate some various health issues. It feels like someone has kept something massive and weighty on our head and therefore we feel difficult to lift our head up or continue doing our work. Stress or Anxiety is common in our society nowadays, people take stress about anything and everything. Anxiety, stress and tension can often cause people to complain that their head feels heavy and tired.

Sinus results from inflammation and pressure within the sinus cavities of the skull. The sinuses are cavities or pockets located within the bones of the skull. Sinusitis is usually caused by a virus and may be part of a cold. Sinus infections can also be caused by bacteria or rarely a fungal infection of the sinuses during which a person can experience a heavy head from time to time.

How to treat a heavy head?
Keep yourself hydrated. Drink water as much as you can because water flushes out all the toxins from the body. Have a properly nutritious diet. Get an adequate amount of sleep is important for a healthy brain. A person should sleep for at least 6-8 hours. Avoid sweets or spicy food as it can harm your digestion. Do yoga or exercise or go out for a walk at least one time in a day. Have a positive approach towards everything as it affects your mood and therefore your brain.
