Isn’t it? It is even believed that if you want to know a city completely, romance with its food. Every state has its own dishes which are famous all around the world. So, today I’ll tell you all about some famous dishes from our Capital- Delhi. From shopping to awesome Food, Delhi has got everything. Delhi-ites are even known for their insatiable appetite as there are a lot of mouth-watering dishes for which Delhi is famous for. ‘Dilli ki chaat ni Khai to kya khaya’ I hope everybody of you who have visited Delhi must have heard this line. The most famous thing in Delhi is its chaat. Despite this being street food, people die for it. From Golgappe to Tikki everything is just yum. Delhi is even known as Street Food capital of India. In Street food, you can have- Golgappe, Tikki, Dahi Bhalle, Papdi Chaat, Aloo Chaat and much more.

Chandni chowk k paranthe are famous from ancient times. There is a separate street known as paranthe wali Gali in Chandni Chowk, Delhi. Although, Nowadays you can get some good paranthas in a different part of Delhi too as it is a late-night snack for every hostelite.

The favorite street food of every Delhi-ite is Kachori Sabji. The kachoris have many different fillings but the common one are with peas, onion and potato. It is eaten by dipping it into garma garam aloo ki sabzi.

Daulat Ki Chaat
As the name says ‘Chaat’, it has nothing to do with chaat you eat on streets. It is a sweet dish which is famous by its name. It is made by creamy, thick churned milk and the froath that forms which is kept in a bowl and some saffron-infused milk is added to give it some flavour. It is a mouthwatering dish for all the sweet lovers.
