Hair Masks :Hello, girls. Summers are here and our hairs are done with battling all that heat, humidity sweat, and frizz. It’s time to indulge them with nice relaxing hair spas. Here I come up with 20 hair spas for all different kinds of hair. So read on.

We are Loving These 20 Hair Masks for EVERY Hair Type 1

Apply these, as per your requirement for 30 minutes and wash off with a mild shampoo! Use once weekly for good results  :)

# 1 for normal hair
  1. ½ sliced and skinned avocado
  2. 2 tbsp. coconut oil
  3. 1 tbsp. Honey
  4. ¼ cup mayonnaise

Time-15 minutes

Avocado soothes the scalp and promotes strong healthy hair. Mayonnaise contains vinegar oil which helps to maintain scalp pH.

# 2 for dry hair
  1. 2 tbsp raw honey
  2. 1 mashed banana
  3. 2 tbsp olive oil
  4. 3 drops lavender oil

Honey acts as a humectant which locks in moisture. Lavender oil balances sebum production and has a soothing and calming effect.

# 3 for curly hair
  1. 1 egg
  2. 1 tbsp olive oil
  3. 1 tbsp honey
  4. 2 tbsp mayonnaise
# 4 for damaged hair
  1. 1 egg yolk
  2. 1 tbsp honey
  3. 2 tbsp coconut oil
# 5 for product build-up
  1. 2 tbsp baking soda
  2. Water

Do this once every 2 weeks. You will get rid of all product build-up and achieve crazy volume

# 6 Strawberry masks
  1. 1 cup Sweet strawberries
  2. 1 egg yolk
  3. 2 tbsp of olive oil

Strawberry contains ellagic acid which prevents hair fall and thinning and also exfoliates the scalp.

# 7 Cucumber mask
  1. 1 egg white
  2. 2 tbsp of olive oil
  3. 4 pieces of cucumber
# 8 for hair growth
  1. 1 whisked egg
  2. 4 tbsp of grape seed oil
  3. Few drops of lavender oil

Grapeseed oil contains vitamin E which makes hair healthy and shiny.

# 9 for Dehydrated Hair
  1. ½ cup of oatmeal
  2. ½ tbsp of almond oil
  3. ¼ cup of milk

Make a thick paste with all the ingredients and apply to wet hair. Oatmeal contains vitamin B which moisturizes hair and helps revive damaged hair.

# 10 Hair Growth Promoters
  • Onion juice
  • 1 to 2 tbsp of honey

Onion might be smelly but the honey in the mask helps to fight the odour. Onion contains high quantity of sulfur which helps to accelerate hair growth.

# 11 Pumpkin masks
  1. One cup of pumpkin puree
  2. 2 tbsp of honey

Pumpkin is a rich source of potassium and zinc. It helps in maintaining hair health.


  • Papaya (acc to hair length)
  • Yogurt

Mix these two according to requirement. Papaya boosts dry brittle hair with plenty of shine.

# 13 Coffee masks
  1. 1 tbsp of olive oil
  2. 1 tbsp of honey
  3. 1 teaspoon of coffee

Coffee enhances the natural brown color of hair and gives a brownish tinge to it.

# 14 Argan oil mask
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 1 teaspoon Argan oil
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon olive oil

This mask helps to treat dry damaged hair.

# 15 Green Tea mask
  • Green tea
  • Honey

Mix them according to requirement. Green reduces scalp inflammation and dandruff. It softens the hair follicles.

# 16 Curry leaves mask
  1. Handful of curry leaves
  2. Handful of Neem leaves
  3. 2-3 teaspoons of yogurt

Make a paste and apply to hair. Curry leaves are rich in antioxidants and amino acids which combat hair fall and hair thinning.

# 17 for oily hair
  1. 1 juiced lemon
  2. 1 tbsp honey
  3. ¼ cup apple cider vinegar

Keep this mask for 30 minutes. Apple cider vinegar removes product build-up and gives lustrous locks.

# 18 Fenugreek seed hair mask
  1. 1 tbsp of fenugreek seed
  2. 5 to 6 tablespoon of yogurt
  3. 1-2 tablespoon olive oil
  4. ¼ cup water

Cover this mixture with a lid for 2 to 3 hours and then apply. Fenugreek seed helps to reduce hair fall, hair thinning, restores luster and bounce to hair.

# 19 for frizz control
  1. 1 mashed banana
  2. 1 tbsp honey
  3. 2 tbsp plain yogurt
# 20 Remedy of split ends
  1. 1 tbsp of almond oil
  2. 2 tbsp of honey
  3. 1 tbsp of apple cider vinegar

Ps- the best remedy would surely be to cut them off.

So here I complete my list. The masks can be kept for 15 minutes if not mentioned otherwise.
