How to Use:
Wash your face & pat dry. Apply a dime-sized amount of the serum on your face and allow it to get absorbed into the skin.
My Experience with VLCC Snigdha Skin Whitening Serum:
Packaging:
The product comes in a travel-friendly packaging. It is a pink and white bottle with a pump dispenser secured with 2 caps.
Texture:
The serum is lightweight and white in color. It is very smooth and a small amount of it (usually a pump) is sufficient for the entire face. I normally massage it into my skin for a minute or so. I usually use it immediately after washing my face with face wash. I normally skip the toning part but if you regularly tone your face you can apply it after toning.
Effectiveness:
I possess a combination skin type and normally do not require a moisturizer after applying this serum. I have been using this product for 3 weeks now and could notice a glow in the first few days itself. I do not have any scars, blemishes or acne marks on my skin; so just can’t say if it would fade them or not. Regarding skin whitening properties, it did remove a little tan I had from my last visit to Goa. I personally feel nothing can alter (read whiten) your actual skin color. So thumbs down to whitening. Overall it acts like a light moisturizer which penetrates the skin deeper, hydrates it well and gives a natural sheen while removing a bit of tan.

Would I repurchase and recommend?
I personally like the way it hydrates and leaves the skin supple and soft. It is suitable for all skin types and I might repurchase it, but only If I intend to replace it with my regular moisturizer. Quite frankly, I am on the fence for this one. If you want skin whitening and brightening, it is of no use. If you want a good light moisturizer, then go for it.
