Moisten a piece of cotton with this toner, apply all over clean face and neck area. Add to your face packs for the refreshing & glowing skin.

My Experience with VLCC Rose Water Toner

PACKING –

The toner comes in a bottle with a flip cap from which you can pour the contents out onto a cotton ball or maybe take it onto your hand and apply it directly onto your face.

TEXTURE AND CONSISTENCY-

The rose water is slightly pink in color and all watery.

 

FRAGRANCE -

the fragrance is that of the roses and smells gorgeous. The fragrance does linger on the skin after application and I love it.

EXPERIENCE –

 Well, I would say this toner smells amazing and even feels amazing on the skin. I usually use it thrice a day but that in itself has become quite a task. I either have to get some cotton to soak it in the toner and then apply it. On other occasions, I just pour it in my palm and pat my wet hands on the skin which I think is a very foolish way of applying rose water or any toner, to be honest. So the cotton ball is how I use it usually. Though I wish they had a spray packing.

As far as the results go out it makes my skin feel refreshed for sure. Sometimes I even use it when my skin appears to be stretchy after my usual face wash. It helps the facial skin to restore the moisture lost during the face wash. It doesn’t appear to be sticky and is light on application.

Once it’s dry it disappears evenly on the skin and with regular use, it has imparted a certain glow on my skin making it look healthy and fresh. Skin seems to have become plump too, looks like it holds a lot more moisture and supple too.

I have used a couple of rosewater toners from different brands and somehow I don’t think there is much fault in any of them, they are all more or less the same. But the main thing that I look for in the toner is that it shouldn’t be soapy and slippery which this one is not 🙂

PROS 

1. Skin feels refreshed
2. Eliminates the stretchy feel if used after face wash
3. Smells great

CONS 

1. Can’t spray on the face when required
2. Can’t apply it on the go as it needs cotton pads to be applied.

My Recommendation?

Well, I would definitely recommend this as it’s not sticky on the skin and I see it imparting a certain amount of glow to the skin. However, if you like something that you can just spray on and leave or even use on the go – sitting in your car or spray on even when you are outside then try something which comes in a spray can like the lotus herbals rosewater toner

Otherwise a nice toner.
