Basic information about the VLCC Lovable Lips Mango Lip Balm

Lip Balm

Price:

Rs.125 for 4.5g

What does the product claim?

A Mango lip balm infused with the goodness of jojoba oil that dresses and caresses your pout in one sweep to make it luscious, lovely and lovable. Jojoba oil is one of the richest natural conditioners that the tropical forests have to offer. It has numerous beauty benefits and is perhaps the best known plant-based lip hydration and soother. Jojoba oil heals chapped lips and seeps in to restore moisture and texture from within leading to smooth and supple lips. With vitamin E, nourishing Almond oil and SPF, VLCC brings to you a range of sun-safe pot perfectors in many pretty hues.

Direction to use: Simply glide it over your lips to savor the fragrance and set the color. Use daily and as often as desired. Continuous use makes lips soft, healthy and supple.

Key ingredients: Almond oil, Jojoba oil, Vitamin E, Octyl methoxy cinnamate, Performalene PL & Benzophenone 3.

My experience with the VLCC Lovable Lips Mango Lip Balm

The VLCC Lovable Lip mango Lip Balm is a great lip balm as far as the price is concerned. It has a very strong mango fragrance that can cheer you up even on the laziest winter mornings. Most people don’t like a strong smelling balms so surely this one is not for them. It gives a good moisturizing for 3-4 hours on average. It has a very subtle yellowish tint which I don’t really like. It feels a little sticky on the lips nut that’s fine.

It nourishes the lips quite well as its key ingredients are natural oils like jojoba oil and almond oil. The lip balm also has SPF 16 to protect from sun rays in summers. The application is quite smooth.

About the packaging

It comes with a yellow stick showing the shade on its body and the lid is transparent having a sticker pasted on the lid providing the info about the lip balm and the brand VLCC. To use it just open the lid and twist from the bottom in the right direction and apply evenly to your lips. The only thing is the piece I have does not have a stable balm stick and it’s quite loose from the container so it gets displaced while applying.

Overall performance of  VLCC Lovable Lip Mango Lip Balm

Pros:

  • Very smooth
  • Moisturising
  • SPF 16 content
  • Availability
  • Budget-friendly
  • Variety of shades
  • Stays for longer hour
  • Natural oils content
  • Fruity smell

Cons:

  • Strong fragrance
  • Sticky
  • Yellowish tint

 Would I recommend?

I would definitely recommend this lip balm to those who are looking for a budget-friendly lip moisturizer in a different shade as the mango one gives a little yellowish tint that bothers me a bit. If budget is not the concern then there are other products available in the market.
