My Experience with UV Doux Silicone Sunscreen Gel SPF 50 PA+++
Packaging
The sunscreen comes in a white tube which is packed in the same color outer packaging. The tube has a screw cap to secure the dispensing nozzle. The packaging is very convenient to use and wastage-proof.
Colour & Texture
Though it is called a gel, it is a thick fluffy cream. It has a non-irritating silicone compound as the base. The cream once applied on the skin feels thick for a few seconds and then settles into a comfortable matte finish. It is a mineral sunscreen so the titanium dioxide content in it creates a subtle whitish cast on the skin. After sometimes it adjusts to the skin.
Fragrance
It has a very light floral fragrance. The fragrance goes away within 5 minutes of application.
Experience
I have photosensitivity so my skin becomes red, itchy, and irritated if my skin gets exposed to the sun for just a few minutes. So, I have to use a high-SPF sunscreen. Many of the easily available chemical sunscreens have oxybenzone as the main ingredient. I have a sensitivity to this specific ingredient so I have no other way than to use physical sunscreens. These sunscreens leave behind a white cast and this one is not exception as well. This sunscreen feels very comfortable on the skin and I don’t need to do frequent re-applications as it stays put for a long. I just have to apply a thin layer of tinted BB cream over this to hide the white cast.

What do I dislike about this sunscreen?
- Expensive

Would I Repurchase or Recommend it?
I might not buy it again as it is quite expensive. I love Neutrogena’s sunscreen. I would suggest this to extremely sensitive skin people.
