Tresemme Climate Control Shampoo: Tresemme is a popular brand of hair care that makes some really effective yet pocket-friendly shampoo and conditioners. I have kind of love-hate relationship with this brand because some of their products work for me and some do not. I have naturally relaxed hair. For my textured hair, moisturelessness is always an issue. Rough and frizzy hair often cause split ends. So, in the December sale, I got Tresemme shampoo: Climate Control. This shampoo is specially designed for frizzy hair. I have quite unmanageable hair. If this shampoo shows good results on my hair, then it would suit everyone with similar hair woe. Read on to know if this shampoo is any good or a common one in different packaging.

My Experience with Tresemme Climate Control Shampoo

Packaging- This shampoo comes in a matte black plastic bottle. The dispensing mechanism is good but quite uncommon in comparison with flip-open packs. The packaging has minimal graphics or pictorials; all the details are given in written form. Tresemme’s shampoos are generally packed in this kind of black bottles. This one is color coded in blue. It is a sturdy bottle with no spillage issue.

Colour & Texture- The shampoo is pearly white in color. It is a dense product so the amount needed per use is less. It is a moisturizing shampoo that creates a creamy lather. It does not dry out my hair.

Fragrance- The shampoo has a floral fragrance to it. The fragrance helps to get rid of the sweaty odor of the scalp. The smell stays for the day but then fades to a subtle hint.

Experience- The place I live is blessed with extreme humidity. Naturally, frizziness knows no limit in my textures wavy hair. I already have fine hair so I cannot trust those harming hair styling tools. Hair creams or sprays on the other hand often weigh down my hair by causing too much product build-up. This shampoo is hydrating enough. It does not make my hair dry but at the same time, it cleanses the scalp. I need two washes to get my pre-shampoo oil and accumulated dirt cleaned up completely. I generally do not leave my hair without conditioner. This shampoo is moisturizing enough but my hair wants more. If I use only this shampoo with no conditioner, serum or anything then the hair starts to get frizzy after 4-5 hours.

Tresemme Climate Control Shampoo is a standard nourishing shampoo for dry and damaged hair with unmanageable texture. This shampoo worked for me so I might buy another bottle of this if I do not find anything more effective in this price range. I would recommend this shampoo to someone with frizzy and tangle-prone hair.
