Trail Mix Coffee Recipe: Okay, something really freaked me out and in a very funny way! It’s 5:30 am right now and I went out in my garden, you know just to feel the atmosphere and kind of rejuvenate myself. So it turns out that I have been looking around, the guava tree is laden with fruits and they keep plopping all over the place. I counted 7 pomegranates…few of them already reddening up…the lemons are growing nicely…ah pretty fruitful nature!!
So it’s bright outside and when I enter my house, I turn off the lights. Err you know what I mean? The habit of turning off the lights when you leave the room? Yeah, that is the one…I practically switched off the sunlight and rang my doorbell instead 😛 😛
So one thing was established, I was in DIRE need of some CAFFEINE 😉
And so comes the point, where I am drinking THE TASTIEST cup of coffee in my life!! I came up with an impromptu recipe and it is oh my God delicious and a PERFECT breakfast!!
Ingredients for Trail Mix Coffee :
- 3 Tbsp Trail mix (If you don’t have trail mix, mix one spoon each roasted peanuts, almonds cashews, dried grapes, and M n Ms or Gems, it’s fine if they are salted..just shake off most of the salt and add in two pinches of sugar).
- A Drizzle of Honey (go light with it as trail mixes already have sugar)
- Instant Coffee Powder
- 2 Tablespoon rolled oats
- A cup of frozen and thawed milk of choice
Method of Making Trail Mix Coffee :
Plonk everything into the blender and blend away to glory!! 😉
This is THE tastiest, creamiest, nuttiest and outlandishly delicious!! Not only yummy, but this is also one of THE BEST breakfasts ever. It will wake you up and fill you up. You are getting a healthy dose of omega 3 fatty acids, calcium, fiber and low glycemic index carbs that will keep you full for long!
