I have an oily skin and during these harsh, humid summer days I tend to prefer products, which has a cooling effect on my burning & irritated oily skin. I love using The Body Shop Seaweed clarifying Toner these days.  I have already used The Body Shop Seaweed deep cleansing face wash and I am obsessed how gentle it was. So, I picked up The Body Shop Seaweed Clarifying Toner to help to remove excess oil without drying out my skin with a cooling effect. It is a refreshing and purifying toner. Contains cucumber extract and wild harvested seaweed instantly and effectively conditions, purifies and refreshes the skin, removing leftover of make-up and cleanser. Containing cucumber extract, seaweed, and glycerine, it works to moisturize and leaves the skin feeling fresh, purified, shine-free, and better prepared for the absorption of a moisturizing product. My Experience With The Body Shop Seaweed Clarifying Toner:-

This is my first bottle of the body shop seaweed clarifying toner and I am amazed that how beautifully this toner removes all the traces oil, dirt, and residue of make-up and also leaves my skin feeling very refreshed after using it .it rebalances and revive your skin, it is an alcohol-free toner which gently cleanses impurities while targeting combination skin, to purify and refresh. The toner comes in a transparent cylindrical bottle, which is made up of plastic. The bottle has a flip open cap with good solid grip to avoid any leakage of the product overall the packaging looks sleek and decent. My skin feels so refreshed because of the menthol presence in it which is a good thing during summer’s days it doesn’t break me out and do not dry skin but it keeps me skin oil free all day long. It is an extremely lightweight toner leaves a matte effect on the skin. It looks just like clear water. It is a colorless liquid has a consistency of pure plain water. It has an aquatic refreshing mild fragrance which is the best thing about it according to me. It is gentle on the skin. It also soothes my cystic acne bumps. As, it contains organically grown seaweed, cucumber, and vitamin E it helps my skin in better absorption of my moisturizer. It does not burn when used around eyes.

Cons-

• It is expensive.
• Contains parabens and other chemicals
• Not very effective in reducing the size of enlarge pores.
• Its availability might be an issue.

 

Would I Repurchase or Recommend?

I would rate it 4/5. It works fine except it is not much effective on enlarged pores also feels a bit sticky during an extremely humid day. I would repurchase it when running out of this bottle. I recommend it to those who have oily, acne, irritated and sensitive skin.
