Patanjali Saundarya Face Wash Review

Patanjali Saundarya Face Wash Review

by Shubhangi Singh

Patanjali is definitely turning out to be one of the most popular brands among Indian menage and the reason behind it becoming the choice of all is the very use of natural constituent which is believed to be best for skins during ancient times. My mom, who is again a natural products enthusiast keeps trying almost every Patanjali product now and then and the Patanjali Saundarya face wash which I am reviewing today was also brought up by her and was recommended to me. I generally stick to a particular brand when it comes to Face wash but the key ingredient of this product that is aloe vera, neem, tulsi and orange peel gave me the courage to take a chance and try using it. Since all these products work very well on skin with hardly any side effect. I am person who loves making homemade face packs rather than using the packed ones and the ingredients here were always used to be a part of some or the other packs I made at home so let’s see whether this Patanjali product gives the same satisfaction bottling up the natural products or is far away from such experience.

My experience with Patanjali Saundarya Face Wash

Patanjali Saundarya Face Wash Review 2

The creamy texture face wash comes in a white tube with a golden flip top cap which is completely leak proof, therefore, safe to carry during travels. It lathers very quickly with only a peanut size quantity which makes the product last long. I generally take a good time facial massage with it because it feels fresh while doing so and the mild smell does not irritate my nose. But the sad part is the freshness doesn’t last for long and you won’t feel any orange peel extract which would help to remove the dead cells from skin. I have a normal skin so after applying the face wash I need to moisturize it a bit as it feels dry but is very much okay for humid summer days and people with oily skin. As the product claims it removes dirt and oil from face. At times I also use to remove my makeup and it works well. No matter what but the product will not leave out any side effect on the skin due to the amazing natural ingredients used but my expectations were much more than what was provided in the product.

Overall Performance of Patanjali Saundarya Face Wash

Positives:

  • Ayurvedic
  • Skin feels bright and fresh after using the face wash
  • Reasonable price
  • Good packaging
  • Lathers well
  • Mild fragrance
  • Small quantity need, therefore, lasts long

Negatives:

  • Leaves skin dry at times
  • No sense of orange peel extract
  • Effect does not last for long

Would I recommend/ Repurchase?

So you can somewhat make out from my experience that I am not that satisfied with the product the expectation were much more by looking at the ingredients used. After using the wash you feel the freshness but for a short while and the excellent exfoliating work done by the orange peel when I use it directly completely lacks in the face wash. It’s definitely good for people with oily skin though they’ll also need to re-apply during humid days ; for normal skin, it can at times feel dry. At the end, I will recommend this face wash only to people with oily skin.
