My Experience with Sugar Never Say Dry Creme Lipstick 09 A Christmas Coral
This lipstick comes in a square-shaped matte black bullet. The cardboard outer packaging was quite beautiful with a face graffiti. The packaging is sturdy and travel-friendly.
Shade, Pigmentation & Texture
The shade A Christmas Coral is bright orange. Though there is coral in the name, it is not a true coral; it is more on the red side on my lips at least. The shade looks more orange on deeper skin tones. Pigmentation is awesome. I get opaque finish in one stoke. The shade does not look patchy. The texture is smooth and very very creamy. It feels heavy on the lips in summer. It has a glossy finish.
It has a slight vanilla fragrance. The fragrance is not strong.
Ease of Application
The lipstick glides on my lips smoothly and keeps the lips moisturized as long as it is there on the lips.
I am not that much into creme finish lipsticks but the shade attracted me. I have often seen this kind of shade being used as a tint in K-dramas and I also intended to do so. The shade looks pretty as a tint. This lipstick goes well with traditional attires. I tried to blot the excess moisture off to set it as a matte lip color but blotting takes off more than half of the pigment. Due to the creamy formula, this works really well as blush. In fact, this has become my go-to blush these days.
