The shade is called cognac matte, and it’s a beautiful almost nude shade. These days’ nude lipsticks are in trend, and so is a matte finish. So this lipstick without a doubt is very trendy. A decent nude shade is a must these days and the Smashbox be legendary cognac matte is a must buy!

Packaging: it comes in a square shaped rectangular packaging. The cap is nice and tight and it won’t open easily in your bag.
The packaging looks absolutely sleek and classy.
Texture: the lipstick is by far the most creamy and smooth lipstick I have ever come across, I honestly find it better than the lipsticks of MAC.
Pigmentation: the lipstick has nice pigmentation even though it’s a nude color,
Staying power: the lipstick has brilliant staying power, it will easily stay for 10 hours, you might need a touch up since it’s a nude shade.

My experience with this lipstick has been great; I like the color and texture of this lipstick a lot. The nude shade looks very classy; I love how it looks on my skin shade in particular. As the name suggests the lipstick has a very nice matte finish. Cognac is a high-quality brandy based in France, and the lipstick resembles the shade of the brandy. The lipstick just glides through your lips.
Unlike some lipsticks we see that look like one shade in the packaging a different shade when actually used, cognac matte is true to its color. I think this quality is very important in lipsticks especially in today’s time when we tend to buy most of our makeup online.
Value for money: this lipstick is worth each penny you spend on it. It can be the best 1700 bucks that you will ever spend, so go for it
