Sesa Hair Oil Review

Hair oiling is an extremely important part of a hair care routine and I follow it religiously. It helps nourish the roots and scalp of the head. It helps stimulate the scalp and regulates blood flow. This, in turn, stimulates the follicles and aids hair growth. This is why it is advised to massage the scalp every day. I use various oils, home-made, brought from stores and much more. I recently purchased this Sesa hair oil and I have been using it for 4 weeks and I am here to review the same. Read on to know more about the product.

My Experience with Sesa Hair Oil

Packaging

Nothing fancy with the packaging, it comes in a golden colored paper box and the bottle is plastic which doesn’t have a stopper and opening the cap reveals a big hole from where oil can be poured out- not travel-friendly packaging I feel.

Color and texture

It is liquid in texture and has a light green color

Fragrance

It has a pretty strong smell of bhringraj and other Ayurvedic formulations.

Experience

I have always had this problem of dandruff and I keep trying new hair oils, home remedies etc, to get rid of dandruff and my dry scalp becomes worse during winters and when the weather is cold. I have previously used this oil in the summer and had great results and decided to use it because of late, I have too much dandruff and dry scalp. I applied this oil and massaged my scalp for 10 minutes. I left it for 2 hours and washed it using chickpea flour. It required 2 washes of chickpea flour to completely get rid of the oily. I noticed I had less hair fall and after drying my hair, my dandruff was gone. I was extremely happy. 3 days down the lane, dandruff came back. I started using it once in 3 days and saw that it helped with the hair fall and helped with hair growth. But if I missed applying this oil after the 3rd day, dandruff used to recur. So, this doesn’t do anything miraculous. If you want to just reduce hair fall, go ahead and try this. It doesn’t help with dandruff.

Sesa Hair Oil 3

Pros
  1. Helps reduce hair fall to a certain extent
  2. Natural ingredients
  3. Helps grow already existing hair (has to be used consistently for more than a month to see the difference)
Cons
  1. Helps with dandruff momentarily
  2. Not travel-friendly packaging
  3. Strong smell of oil
Would I repurchase or recommend?

I wouldn’t repurchase this oil but I will recommend it to people who want to get rid of hair fall. Also, it doesn’t help grow out new hair; it just helps grow the existing hair longer. It doesn’t help with dandruff too, which is the reason why I wouldn’t repurchase it.

I have used this oil and i agree that it has very strong and irrestible smell and i personally dont think that it even reduces hairfall . It simply has no anti hairfall effects on my hair.

Everyone’s hair is different. It didn’t help with my dandruff as well.

Yes but don’t expect miracles since this is an all natural product and even the slightest bit of improvement in your hair requires consistency and patience.
