My Experience with Roop Mantra Neem Face Wash

Packaging

This face wash comes in a white plastic tube with same color screw cap. I have got the smallest pack with screw cap but the bigger sizes have a flip-top cap. The packaging is spill-proof and mentions an ingredient list in detail (some other variants had only key ingredients and preservatives mentioned).

Colour & Texture

This face wash is a light green colored gel with medium density. It is a non-foaming cleanser that does not produce thick lather. It gets washed off without wasting too much water and keeps face oil-free for 4-5 hours in hot and humid weather.

Fragrance

It has a very strong disinfectant kind of fragrance. The fragrance feels quite uncomfortable and irritates my senses. Thankfully I didn’t buy a bigger size or frequent use might have triggered my migraine issue!

Experience

I have tried three different variants (Lemon, Mix fruit and this one) of face cleansers from Roop Mantra and this Neem one is my least favorite of all the three. As a cleanser, it is of moderate quality. It is able to wash off excess sebum and cleanse superficial impurities. But it fails to show any change on existing pimples. The formula contains sulfate and other chemicals. The strong fragrance is also a huge minus point of this face wash.

What do I like about this face wash?
  1. Deep cleanses skin
  2. Does not make the skin dry
  3. Does not contain paraben
  4. Keeps skin oil free for 4-5 hours
  5. Budget-friendly
  6. Travel-safe packaging
What I dislike about this face wash?
  1. Extracts of neem and other herbal ingredients are just in trace amounts
  2. Promotes as an ‘ayurvedic’ product but laden with sulfates and other chemicals
  3. Strong and odd disinfectant kind of fragrance
  4. Does not reduce existing pimples or prevent new pimples
Would I Repurchase or Recommend?

Unless you are okay with strong disinfectant smell don’t think buy this. Trust me Himalaya Neem face wash is way better than this. I would not buy it again or suggest to anyone.

Rating-1/5

It is really cheap but as it does not show any result, I will not prefer it.
