My experience with Rimmel Oh So Wicked Lipstick
It comes in a black, bullet-shaped packaging with the color depicting on the circular rim of the packaging. The name of the shade and its code is written on the back of the lipstick.
Colour and texture
The name of the shade is “oh so-wicked” and it is a deep, dark brown and it is extremely creamy in texture and glides like butter on the lips.
It has a very fruity smell which goes off within 10 minutes of application of the lipstick
This lipstick was actually suggested by a friend of mine. I have recently gotten obsessed with these dark, bold shades and fortunately enough, they complement my skin tone and face structure, as well as cover up the pigmentation on my lips. The shade oh so-wicked is a dark maroon brown shade which can be used by people of all ages. It is extremely creamy ( I was super-impressed when I swatched it) and glides like butter on the lips. It helps keep the lips moisturized and doesn’t dry them out. But, it transfers to an extent since it is creamy and also fades after heavy meals. But, for this price, the texture is way too good and yes, it is matte. If you don’t mind reapplying a lipstick every 4 to 5 hours, then this lipstick is definitely for you. It comes in a variety of shades that include mauves, pinks, neutrals and much more.
- Extremely creamy
- Glides easily on lips
- Pretty packaging
- Doesn’t dry out the lips
- Travel-friendly wide variety of shade
- This shade covers pigmented lips
- Oh so-wicked is a beautiful, bold brown shade
- Not tested on animals
- Stays for 4 to 5 hours
- Fades after meals
Would I repurchase or recommend this?
I am in love with this shade but wouldn’t repurchase other shade but recommend it to people who want a creamy, affordable lipstick who don’t mind if the lipstick stays for just 4 to 5 hours with some fading and transfer.
Glossypolish verdict: The product is extremely creamy and matte, and gives a smooth finish on the lips. Unfortunately, it fades and transfers to a great extent, because of which it stays for a maximum of 4 to 5 hours only. This product is recommended only if you are ok with its less staying power and are a fan of creamy, matte lipsticks.
