Revlon Rose Ultra HD Lipstick: Hey guys, In my opinion, Revlon is a brand that is losing its share in the market with each passing day. Nobody mentions it anymore except for their liquid lipsticks. Anyway, I got this lipstick as a gift and thought of reviewing here. Let’s get into the review of Revlon Ultra HD Lipstick Rose:

My experience with the Revlon Rose Ultra HD Lipstick

The pricing of this lipstick confuses me. It is 1100 in Nykaa and for 700 on Amazon. Is it worth that much of money? Not at all. The lipstick comes with a transparent cap which makes it easy to spot in a stash of lipsticks. It is sturdy and sleek in my view. The shade is a very beautiful pink with a hint of coral. It is quite muted. Such a shade will suit anyone right? Wrong! It is extremely pale when applied to lips. It washes me out and makes me look sick.

It is suitable only for very very fair skin tones. If you have pigmentation around the mouth, it will exaggerate that too. The lipstick by itself has a sheen and has a sheer formula. I cannot fathom as to why they would name it as Ultra HD. The Lipstick stays for about two hours and doesn’t resist any activity. I am just disappointed that its pale on me as it’s a beautiful color. I usually mix with other lipsticks. It won’t show up on pigmented lips as well.

Positives:

1. Beautiful rosy pink.
2. See through packaging.

Negatives:

1. Called as HD Matte but glossy.
2. Washes me out.
3. Accentuates pigmentation.
4. Low staying power.
5. Sheer formula.

Would I recommend?

No, I don’t recommend this to anyone. If you want to check out, the other shades are a better pick.
