Revlon Colorburst Flirtatious :Today, I am here reviewing yet again another lip product. But this time, it is not a lipstick or lip gloss or a lip balm. It is a lacquer balm from the brand Revlon. Read on to know more about the product. The shade I am reviewing is Revlon Colorburst Lacquer Balm Flirtatious.

My experience with Revlon Flirtatious

Packaging

Seen the Clinique chubby stick? Looks exactly like that. For those who are unaware of the Clinique, chubby stick-It comes in a thick pen shaped packaging with the shade showing on the outer part. It looks like a metallic pen. Upon twisting the bottom, the lacquer balm is revealed.

Colour and texture

The name of the shade is “flirtatious” and it is a red-pink shade with tiny little shimmers and a balmy, soft texture.

Fragrance

True to its claims, it smells like fresh mint and as soon as it is applied, it leaves the lips feeling cool and refreshed.

Experience

I was impressed with the Clinique chubby stick and was looking out for more of that kind of balms at a much lesser price and this is when I came across the Revlon colorburst lacquer balm. I immediately purchased the shade “flirtatious” since this was a pink-red mix kind of shade. It has a very soft, balmy texture that glides softly on the lips and gives the much-needed moisture to the lips. It has an easy to use twist up mechanism with a cap, that makes it travel-friendly. It has tiny shimmers in the balm, which matte lovers might not appreciate. Also, the fragrance is just so amazing. It smells like fresh mint and makes the lips so cool and refreshed. But it doesn’t stay for long and being a balm, doesn’t have much pigmentation and just fades off so very soon. This is just a tinted balm at a very high price and definitely not worth buying.

Lipsticks are better. These lacquer balms and others are just tinted lip balms but for the brand name, the price is high..
