A glow on face looks absolutely divine and this is where highlighters and illuminating creams come into picture. In the past few years, the rise of such products has been immense. I am just in my early 20s but wanted to try this cream to give me that glow and not for its anti ageing purpose. So here is my review on the Pond’s Gold Radiance Youthful Glow Day Cream.

Brand Claims:

Pond’s gold radiance day cream works by penetrating deep into your skin. This day cream is highly effective and very light on the skin. It has enriching properties that don’t leave any residual or oily sheen and with real gold serum present offers nourishment and unmatchable glow to your face. Its vitamin B3 reaches the deeper layers and reduces dullness to give you more vibrant skin. It also renews skin cells at a faster rate to leave you with fresher looking skin. This multipurpose cream is loaded with SPF 15 to protect your skin against UV damage.

My experience with Ponds Gold Radiance Youthful Glow Day Cream

 

The packaging comes in a beautiful golden, pump style bottle. I love pump packaging as it is less messy and more hygienic. The cream smells of chemicals. The cream is neither too runny nor too thick and it is slightly golden in color. It may seem like a pricey product looking at the size of the bottle, but a very small amount of product is required because if you go overboard with it, then your face looks like a disco ball.

It claims that it contains real gold particles. However, I really don’t think it contains actual gold particles. One has to blend it properly in order for the cream to absorb properly. The main con with the product is that it makes your skin look tanned by the end of the day. It does a give a nice glow provided you use the right amount. I cannot comment on anti ageing properties as I do not have wrinkles as of now. I use this cream only under makeup for a couple of hours. The SPF is good enough for indoors.

 

Overall performance of Pond’s Gold Radiance Youthful Glow Day Cream:

It is a huge disappointment as it makes your skin dark after few hours.

Would I recommend Pond’s Gold Radiance Youthful Glow Day Cream?

No to both as it is better to invest in a product that works.
