I am a self confessed chocoholic! Truly a sucker for anything with chocolate or coffee in it 🙂 I have tried n number of body creams and lotions which promise a chocolate fragrance and are NOWHERE near it even ! waaa waa…sadness I tell you 🙁

Then I came across this new brand. Plum Goodness. I had a good experience with its green tea mask reviewed here. Also I read such raving reviews about it online everywhere…hat this is like luxurious chocolate…you feel intoxicated by the fragrance…I HAD to give this a try. My Experience with Plum Choco Latte Luxuriant Body Lotion

This body lotion comes in a sturdy and functional packaging. The plastic looks a bit cheap, but it’s not like seriously bad. Keeping the looks aside, the packaging is very sturdy and not bulky, so it’s decent for travelling too. I like the handy pump, which dissipates just the right amount of lotion.

 
 
 

 
 
 

The lotion is very light and has a thick milkshake consistency. It gets instantly absorbed in the skin without any greasiness. So here comes my first observation. This lotion is not suitable for everyone. Only oily skinned beauties or people who like really light lotions will benefit from this. Next…the major point…the fragrance!! Arrrgh!! I am angry. I am Angry. I am Angry.

Why do people sing praises of a fragrance that is not even in the same room as chocolate? It’s like chocolate flavored complan peeking through the window. Honestly, utterly disappointed. Nothing remotely pleasing about the fragrance. I bought it…and after 3-4 uses it is lying on my shelf..Waiting for expiry.

Don’t get me wrong. The brand is great, ethical…and has some pretty decent products. This though, is NOT one of them.
