Patanjali Saundarya Neem Tulsi Face Wash Review

by Sharayu K

Who is it for? The Patanjali Saundarya Neem Tulsi Face Wash is for people who love to use herbal, soap-free formulation that has gentle cleansing action, controls the moisture and maintains the natural balance of the skin.

Patanjali Saundarya Neem Tulsi Face Wash

Price- 70 INR for 100 grams product
How to use it?

Take a pea size amount of the face wash and apply it on your wet face. Massage it gently in circular motions and then rinse it off with water.

My Experience with Patanjali Saundarya Neem Tulsi Face Wash

Packaging-

The face wash comes in a big transparent tube-like packaging along with a golden plastic cap that flips open. The packaging is sturdy and leak proof. The transparency of the tube ensures that the user gets to know how much product is left. All the major information is printed at the back of the tube in black, making it easier for the users to read.

Consistency-

The face wash is in the form of a gel which is light green in color. Once you take it on your palm, you would realize that it is a little sticky in texture. You need only a little amount of product to thoroughly wash your face.

Fragrance-

It has a very artificially sweet fragrance and once you lather it up on your face, the fragrance becomes very strong and irritating.

I found this product to be average in performance. It is not extraordinary. The face wash doesn’t lather much and you feel like taking more amount of face wash but it doesn’t make any sense. The texture feels smooth on the skin but the fragrance is very strong. While rinsing it with water, it takes some effort to get rid of the entire product. However, after washing the face thoroughly I did notice that my skin looked more nourished and moisturized. I guess it was because of the presence of honey and Vitamin E in the face wash. As it claims to prevent a pimple, I didn’t see much of a difference even after using it multiple times. Overall, this product was like any other average face wash containing agents like Neem and Tulsi.

What do I like about the product?
  1. Sturdy, leak-proof packaging
  2. Affordable
  3. Soap-free, herbal formulation
  4. It does moisturize and hydrate the skin
  5. Easily available for purchase
What don’t I like about the product?
  1. The fragrance- very artificial
  2. Doesn’t lather much
  3. Doesn’t perform well to prevent pimples
Would I repurchase or recommend?

I personally wouldn’t recommend or repurchase this product. It was an average face wash, to be honest. It didn’t even perform well to justify the brand’s claims. In fact, we do have better face washes with natural ingredients at this price in the Indian market. So, you might prefer opting for the other face washes with Neem and Tulsi instead of this one.

My Rating- 3/5
