Hi, my readers! So, I got another product from Patanjali (yes, I have them all :p), and this time it’s a shampoo. I’ve been using Patanjali’s shampoo for a long time now and like all its other products, I love its shampoos too!! This time I bought their shampoo- Patanjali Kesh Kanti Hair Cleanser with Milk Protein. Let’s see how this worked for me…!

My experience with Patanjali Kesh Kanti Hair Cleanser with Milk Protein-

Packaging- The shampoo comes in a white bottle with a light green color cap. The bottle is comfortable to use and travel-friendly. The shampoo is white (milky) in color and it has a mild smell, which is great!

Consistency- The consistency of this shampoo is kind of perfect! (Neither too thick, nor too thin) It lathers pretty well on the hair and gives a good foamy massage to my hair.

Also, the best part of this shampoo is that it removes the oil from hair very easily. The quantity that I have to take for one-time wash (with oil or without oil) remains the same. I’m very consistent in oiling my hair, I apply oil to my hair before every wash and this shampoo is just perfect in removing the oil each and every time! I have been using it for over a month now, and not even a single time did I have to re-wash my hair to remove oil. Yes, it’s that awesome!

After using it for a long time now, I can say that I have found my hair-

  • A little longer
  • Dandruff-free
  • Less hair fall
  • Not that dry

But, as the products claim that this shampoo imparts shine, it did not bring any shine to my hair. But that’s okay since it completes all the other uses of a ‘normal’ shampoo. (I have used L’Oreal, Dove and Pantene, and seriously, they did not even help in preventing my hair fall)

Also, since I have used it only when I had oil in my hair and it did what it claimed, therefore, I find it a pretty amazing shampoo. But, my sister had once used it without applying oil in the first place and it made her hair -all frizzy and dry. So, I guess it works only when you have oiled your hair first. (I use Patanjali amla Kesh Kanti oil, it’s pretty good too)

I really like this shampoo and it solves most of the problems that other shampoos don’t.

Pros

  • Mild shampoo
  • Prevents hair fall
  • Removes oil in a single wash and with less amount
  • Cleans well
  • Controls dryness (only when you’ve oiled your hair before)
  • Make hair healthy
  • Soft and creamy texture
  • Nice fragrance
  • Rinses off easily
  • Lathers well
  • Does not make hair flat
  • Easily available (online too)
  • Inexpensive

Cons

  • Does not suit everyone
  • Does not impart shine to hair
  • Does not make hair softer

Would I recommend?

Yes, I would recommend this shampoo. It has herbal ingredients and like all other hair products of Patanjali, I’m sure it won’t disappoint you! Try it out, it so cheap 😉

Yes, it has its own cons but if they don’t bother you much (like me); you should definitely go for this!

I lost hair when I used this shampoo. It increased hairfall! Now pantene is helping me to reduce hairfall!
