Patanjali Kesh Kanti Hair Cleanser Silk and Shine Review

by Mallika Dharmani

Indian Ayurveda and ayurvedic ingredients have been and still are the best source of natural beauty. Patanjali has a whole range of effective and yet cost-friendly Ayurvedic products that are a must try for everyone. I completely dig their hair cleanser range and today I will be reviewing the Patanjali Kesh Kanti Hair Cleanser Silk and Shine which is a new addition to their already existing range of hair cleansers. Check the review to see more details about this product.

My Experience With Patanjali Kesh Kanti Shampoo

Packaging-

The hair cleanser from the Kesh Kanti range comes in a sturdy white plastic bottle which is flat in shape and has a flip top cover. The cover opens easily but one has to bang it hard to close shut the mouth of the bottle. Once closed it is perfectly safe to be carried around.

Texture and Consistency-

The shampoo is a deep dark brown red and reminds me of the color of the molasses. The shampoo is thick at the same time it is runny too.

Fragrance-

Love the herbal scent of the shampoo which smells really sweet and refreshing.

Experience-

The shampoo claims to lessen hair fall however it is marketed under the name and promise of bringing Shine to your hair. Anyone whose hair lacks luster needs to get this hair cleanser and give it a shot. The hair cleanser is quite funny as you can see in the swatch and I would suggest that you rub it in your hands first and then comb it through your hair and spread it. The shampoo lathers really well and spreads evenly. A little amount is enough for even oiled hair and produces a good amount of foam. The fragrance is relaxing and stays on the head for a couple of days and especially after the hair washes, my hair smell strongly of this amazing scent. Also, the shampoo had some sort of colorant which could be mehendi and this shampoo left a deep red tint on my hands right after I swatched it but it didn’t leave any color on my hair.

My hair felt smooth and shiny after the hair wash but it does not help with the hair fall. All it did was make my hair softer and glossier but the hair fall was only 10% better which isn’t a lot.
