Palmolive Thermal SPA Skin Renewal Body Wash Review

by Roohi Gupta

What is it and who is it for? Palmolive Thermal Spa Skin Renewal Body Wash is a shower gel with gentle scrubbing formula.

Price:

Rs 145 for 250 ml

How to Use:

It can be used with a loofah or by hand. Pour a little Palmolive Thermal Spa Shower gel on your wet loofah. Apply gently over your wet skin. For best results, use loofah to work up rich, fragrant lather before rinsing off.

My Experience with Palmolive Thermal SPA Skin Renewal Body Wash:

This comes in a standard Palmolive Shower gel packaging- cute and handy plastic bottle with flip-open cap. Normally, the shower gels are pink, blue, transparent etc. This was different- a creamy white. That was one of the reason I wanted to give it a try. And it was light on my pocket too.:)

I had very hopes from this considering what the brand claims- A SPA experience.

When I flipped open it and pressed it, the shower gel took like forever to come out. Just like waiting for the last bits of ketchup from the bottle. No doubt that they have mentioned the texture is creamy but then the packaging could have been different.

The fragrance is sweet and fruity like coconut milk. The micro-granules of crushed coconut are so mild that you can use it without worrying about your skin getting any irritation. On the other-side, if you want some actual exfoliation, then this might disappoint you.

It neither dries out the skin nor does it moisturizes. Like I have a dry skin and it still feels dry after using this. Oily-skinned beauties might like the product.

Well, one aspect thing this shower gel misses on is it doesn’t actually refreshes you. And that’s what we all look forward to while going for a shower. So you can give it try if want to try something different but there’s nothing wow about it.

Positives
  1. Very mild scrub for sensitive skin
  2. Economical buy
  3. Pleasant fragrance
  4. Doesn’t dries the skin
Negatives
  1. Very thick consistency; really have to press several times before it comes out.
  2. Not refreshing
  3. Very mild exfoliation
  4. Very Average in every respect
Would I repurchase and recommend?

I don’t think so I will but it again. I picked it just for a trial and it didn’t meet my expectations.
