Today I will be reviewing a shade of Oriflame Lipstick called “Oriflame Pure Colour Intense Rusty Red”. I am not a professional but I am a rational customer and would recommend only that is best for you. This is a Tried and tested product. Not even I, most of my friends use products of Oriflame, no wonder why they are so happy. So smile because that is the second best thing that you can do with your lips.

My Experience With Oriflame Pure Colour Intense Rusty Red

Packaging- The packaging of all the lipsticks of Oriflame is same. It comes in a round cylindrical, black container. Shade name, product code and weight are given on the base of lipstick. The cap has the product name written on it –‘Oriflame Pure Colour Intense’.  But the packaging is not color coded.  Hence you might have to struggle to pick a color if you own more than 1 lipstick. The cap is quite sturdy therefore its packaging makes the lipstick travel-friendly.

Shade- In the catalog of Oriflame, there are total 12 shades of ‘Pure Colour Intense’. Though I haven’t tried most of them I could say that Rusty Red is one my favorite.  It is the combination of red-orange-brown color resembling the iron look. But it looks great on fair and wheat-ish skin tone.

Fragrance- During and after applying, the lipstick smells like chocolate.

I started using this lipstick a year ago when my cousin had just become the member of Oriflame. After that, I have been using this lipstick on almost every big event. The amazing fact with this shade is that you can wear it anywhere and anytime i.e. it suits every kind of outfit. Be it traditional or western, it goes with everything.

I have been going back and forth to this shade of Oriflame.  For a change, I used different brands for the same shade but couldn’t found one which would satisfy my expectations.

Texture and pigmentation- Oriflame Pure Colour Intense Rusty Red lipstick is very smooth, creamy and glossy. Therefore unlike other lipsticks, you don’t have to apply lip gloss over and above it. It smears on your lips so smoothly because the lipstick is highly pigmented. You can intensify the color by layering it up or you can just slather it once if you want it light. No matter how many layers you apply it does not feel heavy at all.

Staying power- the staying power of Oriflame Pure Colour Intense Rusty Red lipstick is average that is about 4-5 hours. Even after 4-5 hours including meals and drinks, it does not really disappear from the lips. Light texture is always there on the lips which also looks great. I always have to wipe it off my lips to get rid of it. It fades evenly rather than fading all at once.
